"a little help from my friend" OLD VIDEO GAMES

This is my entree for the greyscalegorilla.com "5 second project contest" hosted by Nick Cambell.
The contest is pretty simple...create a 5 second video based on the current theme that Nick comes up with. This particular theme is "old video games" (pretty cool!) After consulting with my longtime friend for an idea, I decided to have pacman about to get caught by the red ghost, but then his buddy dig dug shows up to even the score! I created this by using a photo of a pacman screen and a dig dug screen I found online , then I cropped and separated the different characters (including the pacman maze, the ghosts, the cherry, pacman and dig dug) and animated them all in 3D space using After Effects. For the record...my friend's original idea was to have the "Defender" spaceship fly in to blast the ghost and save pacman. Very cool idea, but dig dug was a little easier to do. (sorry dude!)
