  • I love this video. So funny when they start beak jousting and you say be nice - they both freeze then Jack gives kisses. We love your birds.

  • @donjacques LOL Thank you so much , jack is a real joker, lol

  • I have to laugh when Jack says bark like a dog meow etc.

    He is just so cute.

Is that a female macaw in the cage?

  • @WillsPills56 The macaw in the cage is Sally. She is 8 yrs old. Jack loves her.lol Sally is out of her cage in the evenings. She likes to get into mischief when we aren't paying attention. She will get up on the computer and tear up all the paper, pull the letters off the keyboard and throw the bills on the floor. lol We just bought her a new larger cage so she likes to hide in there sometimes to get away from Jack. Jack taught her to say quite a bit also! Thanks for writing!

  • Quite the vocabulary.

Anyone who says anything about his legs is very observant (ie. my wife) :P.

It's obvious that your birds are well cared for and loved.

Is that a turkey he's immitating???? lol

    Cool Beans!

My wife asks... "how old is he and is thatt a breeding pair?"

  • Thanks! Jack's vet has no idea why Jack's WBC goes up and he plucks his feathers. Thank goodness we now know the sign/symptoms when he is getting sick and we can get help ASAP. He is immitating a rooster. lol Jack is 12 and Sally is 6. No, we don't breed our birds. We don't know how to care for babies! Thanks again!

  • I have the plucking problem bad with my Skye BG. I cannot get her to stop

  • That's too funny, you told them to be nice, and they both just stopped and looked at you like to little kids.. and the one is the cage dropped whatever he had and was like..uh..I didn't do anything!!

  • @jacknsally11

Hi there JacnSally, thx for the info re plucking of legfeathers. our 11 year old BG has also started to do that. Nearest avianspecialist is 300km from us. What did the vet subscribe and what did he say was causing this illness.

I would appreciate any info re this problem. You can contact me at tobydv@telkomsa.nett (remove the last t plz)

  • hah thats what my bird does too....i have a 6yr old macaw and he does that head swinging.

  • Jack is very beautiful. Loved the video.
