I love the vacuum powerup. Too bad you don't see it much in the game...

this is just edit mode. the story mode plays a lot different. you can only turn on items if you have enough watts (your score). the elebits that come out of objects you turn on will make you're "capture gun" stronger, and you can lift heavier things. in edit mode, you can go ahead and do whatever you want: you choose how powerful the "gun" is from the start, and all electric items can be turned on from game start.

Ah, I see...
Clearly I haven't played this game to its fullest extent, lol.

it's a yellow elebit. if you leave it alone, it'll gather a bunch of other elebits and become giant. to catch them, you gotta throw them against something several times. they keep gathering elebits over time, and each elebit makes them stronger, so they should be dealt with immediatelly.
That was close. Cool though.

I'm starting to see what you mean moreso about the animations. I don't think I give this game the credit it deserves in regards to the physics.
It would be awesome if they refined the Elebits engine and made more games with it.
Nice levels, by the way. I actually like a lot of your videos in general, so I might subscribe.

the guy's room is a serious mess :\ took quite a while to get the gameplay requirements just right, and even longer to make the room...
but yea, elebits might have rate drops, but its animation is very smooth. half life 2's animations are very static and harsh, particularly with the physics engine.
