North and South ~ Colorblind

I tried something a little different with this video, and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. However, I love this song and I love this movie, and I felt that the two might merge together well. As for my stylistic approach this time...well, let's just leave that open to interpretation. There is significance behind the particular colorized clips vs. black and white, but I won't delve into that here. Suffice it to say that I hope you enjoy this video.

whereas the black-and-white clips are feelings of dissapointment or dislike. Thornton's are usually more of the love and affection/ dissapointment variety,...

I just remembered how I was bothered by the fact that she kept his gloves but they were never mentioned again. You'd think she'd either 'cling' onto them, or offer to give them back. I did kinda notice that he never wore gloves after that, did he?

Thanks for the explanation ... colour as metaphor for the sentiments of Thornton and Margaret. I watched the video again with this thought in mind and I enjoyed it even more!
