Heavy rains are being reported in parts of the country, signaling what could be the start of the El-nino season predicted by weathermen. In Kajiado however residents are preparing in a whole new way. Some of the residents have constructed water pans and tanks ready to harvest the rain water.

  • Brenda, you always have a knack for good stories. What bothers me why 90% of our rivers drain into the Indian ocean and Lake Victoria to feed the Nile, yet we leave our country dry?

  • Are the water tanks on sale or being provided free of charge by the govt? Kenyans are waking up or other learning how to survive. Wamezubaa kwa muda mrefu.

  • Forward planning....common sense is getting quite common, lately.
