the point of screaming is to express a PARTICULAR emotion, anger, grief, etc. and it goes with the rebellious nature of metal. it is the vocal technique used by most metal bands.

they are practically identical, and both as talentless - I'm sorry, but whatever either of them are they're not singing at all!
Even still only as a student I often compare some of today's genres to the 70s and 80s, and wonder what went wrong. In my opinion; Rap, hip-hop, street, screamo, many boybands (disgusting ones like busted & mcfly) and modern R&B all did, and it's a damn shame too.

yeah Jacks amp wasn't working when the curtain opened and then Reids amp cut out halfway through (hence the huge pause at 2:13) but the mike didnt handle screaming too well.
