My name is Courtney and I'll like you until you give me a reason not to. I am not worried about living up to your standards; only my own. I judge books by their covers, don't think before I speak, and am in love with love, though I can never seem to find one that lasts. I expect a lot from people and I think that's fair in its entirety. My life has changed vastly in the past few months and I take no bullshit or prisoners. I will point out your flaws without hesitation, but always with good intentions. I won't tolerate your drama or romantic advances. There's no need to flirt with me. I promise I'm not interested, no matter how irresistible you think you are. Don't expect me to dumb down or change my values for anyone. I know where I want my life to take me and I'm not afraid to step on some toes to get there. let me paint you a picture of my dreams.

I want to meet someone who loves as intensely as I do. Who will look at me with the same fire that smolders between our fingertips when we touch. A man who will carry me up up up and away from this place to a state of being in which I have never dwelt. I want to be free from the confines of expectations and insecurities; to be sublimely happy without effort. Most of all, I want someone who needs me, no matter who sees such need as a weakness. Maybe one will succeed where all the rest have failed. someday.
