Designed and directed by Yuji Horii, Portopia showcases the same classic adventure game play that Kojima would use in his later title, Snatcher. Originally released on Japanese PCs, then ported over to the Famicom during the early stages of its life, Portopia never touched international shores, outside of translated emulation.

I hope this short will interest you in the title, or generate discussion on how it would influence Kojima's later works.

I see you used RevA. There's a new RevB out that has a better translation of the script. A second translator re-translated much of it so the story makes much more sense and is much closer to the original Japanese.

Dude this is for a website that he's an admin of! I don't see what the problem is with doing this or making a video researching one of the video games that influenced Hideo Kojima to make video games. If he didn;t go on to make video games then hideo would not make MGS which would have sucked
