@adityabose26 Actually you are incorrect. In the Narada Pancaratra (5.5.59), Hara is listed as a name of Radharani. Hare is invocative form of Hara. Also, the syllables Hara are present in RadHARAni, and RAdHE has the same two syllables as HARE. JAYA RADHE!

@eugizzzle "Hare Krishna" simply means praying or showing your devotion to Krishna and the same for "Hare Rama". The word "Hare" is just an honorific which invokes the name of God's manifested form, be it Rama or Krishna. "Hara" on the other hand is another word for Lord Shiva. When you say "Harihara", you are simply invoking the dual aspects of the trinity. Since "Hari" is another word for Lord Krishna as well. "Hare" is not a name for Radha. Please don't spread misinformation.

@GreenCheese500 Hara is a another name for Shiva, and Hare is a name for Radha. Radha is NOT the same thing as Lakshmi. Lakshmi is the Goddess of Fortune, while Radha is Krsna's personified internal energy.
