The Abbotsford Heat picked up their first win at home this season, a 7-5 triumph over the Milwaukee Admirals in AHL action on Friday night at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre.

The HEAT spread the scoring among seven different scorers, including the first AHL goals from Mikael Backlund, Keith Aulie and Keith Seabrook. John Armstrong, David Van Der Gulik, Garth Murray and Cam Stuart added singles. Mike Santorelli had a big game for the Admirals.

Santorelli was returned from the Nashville Predators earlier in the day and promptly went out and had a five point night, factoring on every goal Milwaukee scored. Jon Blum also had a big night scoring twice and adding an assist.

For the HEAT, it was their second win of the season as they remain undefeated in regulation through their first five games (2-0-2-1). Milwaukee falls for the first time in regulation this season and is now 2-1-0-1.
