Hi I am going to enter the nursing program next fall. I am hoping for a change but i am nervous at the same time that I will do something wrong. Also being a male nurse, I don't want people to prefer a woman over me.
P.S. My favorite 80's movie....Weird Science!

I don't know if you have a vid on this already or not, and this is a half serious yet half joking question, but HOW do you learn to read MD's chicken scratch handwriting? Im supposed to be graduating in Dec and I'm still scratching my head over what in the world MD's are writing in the charts most of the time. There must be some poor handwriting prerequisite to get into med school or something LOL!

@Laura21701 Hi!! I know I don't understand the sloppiness. There are a few exceptions though. It can be hard sometimes, but you will get used to it. You just learn to recongnize what would be ordered for the patient and if you have trouble, cause sometimes we all do, you just ask someone else. The secretary can usually interpret cause they are the ones who put the orders in the computer.
