WLVI Ch. 56 is the CW affiliate. After UPN was merged into the CW, WSBK went back to independent status in 2006. Today, they are still technically independent, but in September of 2011, WSBK began carrying the MyNetwork TV service, which, as you may know, began as a seventh national network. MNTV was later stripped of that status, now modeling itself as a syndicated programming umbrella similar to ION and past services such as PrimeTime Entertainment Network and Operation: Prime Time.

@VaultMasterDBT So it's the CW affiliate?

Not on UHF Channel 38 it wasn't/isn't (usually, networks only have to affiliate with UHF stations in secondary markets; Boston is a major one).

@catbeast2007 also, Cheers originally aired locally on WBZ - that station is too owned by CBS

@catbeast2007 Is WSBK the CBS affiliate for Boston?

What year did you record this on and did you use Dish Network for that one?

I remember MASH and Cheers coming on in the same lineup a while back but now they're both on The Hallmark Channel.

I agree with you there, samsticka. Since Viacom through Paramount Pictures owned WSBK UPN 38 from 1994-2006. Now CBS owns WSBK.

@megamanj2004X Really? I've never seen that. I mean, I have seen it, but that was before the 2001 remastering.
