Alex, the Soviet Union was NEVER an enemy of the united States of America; they were portrayed as the evil Atheists who practiced communism. Again -- America needs a boogie-man -- to build war machinery and nuclear weapons. You know this, not one Russian age 50 - 70 will tell you they hated America, they will tell you through propaganda, America wanted to destroy them and Vis-à-vis.
