UPDATE: Police on Thursday night arrested three men and one woman who admitted to distracting a senior citizen by asking about relish and then stealing her purse. Read the probable cause affidavits at www.bbpd.org
Police need the publics assistance identifying three men who used a stolen credit card to buy hundreds of dollars in gift cards at a CVS on March 10.
The men are believed to have been involved in a distraction theft around 4:45 p.m. at Wal-Mart on Old Boynton Road. They asked a 79-year-old woman if she knew the ingredients for homemade relish. As she showed one of the men the items hed need, another stole her purse, which contained four credit cards, cash, her driver license and checkbook.
Video surveillance from a CVS on Lantana Road at 5:54 p.m. shows the men using one of the credit cards to buy hundreds of dollars in gift cards. The men returned to the store around 6 p.m. and bought more gift cards, beer and cigarettes. They attempted a third purchase at 6:08 p.m., but the credit card was declined. They also attempted to use it at a Game Stop in Lantana.

yo this girl at the counter is an idiot how do not realize these guys are coming in and out buy fkin gift cards for cvs, who buy hundreds in gift card from cvs. they should have been trained in looking out of suspicious activity, she as much at fault as them
