He's as spiky as ever and I love that about him. He's never shied away from knowing and saying he's grumpy. He's not one of those stars who falls all over his fans,"thanks to all my fans". He's human. Even Liam galagher describes him as "victor meldrew with a sun tan"! To me he's brilliant!

I heckled him to play Running on the spot, two yrs ago when he was in Oxford. He was great, just laughed at me n shook his head - made my life, well sort of. i was chuffed anyway :)

Weller may come across as arrogant but deep down his heart is made of the purest gold..Once, after a night out Weller and a few friends were desperate for a pack of ciggies and went to a petrol station. On the pavement was a down n out girl with a quilt and Weller asked her why she was livin like this?..she replied she had no choice...Weller emptied his wallet and gave her every pound he had..As he walked away she said "Hey you look like that Paul Weller bloke"...He said "Yeah. I get that alot"!
