The Clap - Written By Steve Howe of Yes

This is a solo guitar piece written by Steve Howe of Yes. I try to play it as recorded on the Yes Album - fast, upbeat, with some intensity, fairly straightforward.

The sounds is a bit distorted due to a poor camera mic.

I use all of my fingers on the right hand (Except pinky!) I studied classical guitar, so I use some of that tradition.

Thanks! No, not a professional musician. Just a part-time player. I studied classical guitar when I was younger. Been in a few bands, including YES tribute.

Pretty good for not using a pick, the way Howe plays it.

I use a pick for it.

I play Mood for a Day with a pick too, which not

many (or any) people do.

Wow... Very well done, your transition from picking to strumming back to single note lines was impressive...I didn't even want to attempt this song when I heard it, being a Bass Player it would have taken me forever to figure out....
