I envy you my friend...it must have been a total gas to sit there and hear the maestro play that groove! Back in the 60s I used to dream of going to Roma, for Jazz Clubs and cute girls.. who wasn't in Love with Gina / Sophia..... Alas, where do the years go......I at least still play Alto in a Jazz Quintet.

hahaha I know what you mean buddy! When he was still alive, I used to go to his club - located here in Roma - and I was there, alone, in silence without speaking for hours and hours! It was simply amazing listening at the Maestro playing live the piano!
