@rachkaification Jesus was God's son and in His (God's) image. Satan told Adam & Eve that if they ate the forbidden fruit then they would be "like" gods, knowing good & evil. If we believe in God we can be one "with God" but we can never be God.

Man became God is actually what Jesus was (or is) - a god-man, an incarnation of God.The misunderstanding is about directions.Satan the evil force tells man that he is god but in exactly the opposite, namely, immanent direction i.e. this world.Man is God but in a transcendental way - as his image on the material plane.That is what Jesus showed - a human being who became one with God.

Actually it dosnt matter at all whether u reincarnate or yr life is the only one u've got.What is important is how u live these many lives (or this only life).So the conflict between these two viewpoints, the one western, the other eastern, is totally irrelevant for our spiritual life.What matters is how we reach God which for one is a personality for other it is nothingness.These r just words which cannot describe accurately the Supreme Being.So foget the words and start experiencing the truth.
