Video shows how to use over the counter veterinary drugs Ivermectin and Pyrantel Pamoate to mix your own monthly heartworm and parasite preventative medications and potentially save hundreds of dollars per year. Please be sure to consult your own veterinarian before trying this at home.

Note that there have been reports of heartworm infection in dogs that were prescribed Ivermectin and other heartworm preventatives, including brands Interceptor, Sentinel, and Heartguard. There is a lot of detail to go into, I'll refer you to the following for more in-depth information:

  • I do the same exact thing excpt I use 1% injetable ivermectin and give that orally, l usualy give the pyrantal pamoate orally in an oral syringe. I got that sam pyrantel from revival animal fr like $17 =) great video.
