  • A better explanation ...

The country is broke because corrupt politicians -- both Republicans and Democrats -- allowed the U.S. Treasury to be systematically LOOTED by the wealthiest segments of society (primarily banks and military contractors).

"government just makes a complete mess of things"

You obviously don't use public libraries, and you have your own private fire department, your own private police protection, your own private roads, your own private meat inspectors, your own private sewage system, and your own private water works.

  • @wfmkk are more than capable of determing their own destiny for themselves and their families--- that government should do it all for them, eventually. That is the slippery slope of progressivism. No since you claim that I am not smart enough to make my own way for me and my family (since that seems to be the only arguement you can make), I will give you one more chance to explain why it is better to give up my freedom so that I can barely subsist on what fate your kind has in store for us all.

  • @wfmkk Well, at least you are honest on where you want the country to wind up. No freedom, no opportunity (that is what equal outcomes produce) to better your circumstances for yourself and your family. As a conservative, I want everyone to have the best chance to achieve as much as their ambition and work ethic allows. Only conservatism allows that to happen. Progressives clearly do not believe in that ethic. Instead progressives would rather we all just surrender the idea that individuals....

    "I was being sarcastic there."

    Yeah, that's the ticket.

    "you as an anti-business, anti-free market ..."

You forgot "commie fascist socialist ..."

But at least I have an IQ greater than the square of my shoe size. You, on the other hand ...

    Oh well ...

  • @wfmkk Okay, first of all, I was being sarcastic there. Since you as an anti-business, anti-free market progressive have no sense of humor, it's obvious I have to explain that to you. We conservatives believe there should be some government, but the the role of government should be limited with well defined boundaried. You obviously are in 100% disagreement of that, because that is the tired old arguement you use to try to silence someone who may not want to end the productive sector as you do.

  • @FreedomLovingMan1

"so we just need to let government control all aspects of our lives ..."

You're responding to my argument about the benefit of **public libraries.**

So you think that public libraries demonstrate a conspiracy to "control our lives"??

Thanks for outing yourself as a right-wing lunatic.

  • @wfmkk Yeah, so we just need to let government control all aspects of our lives, because government can do all things better for you than you can yourself. I'm the government. I don't work for you. You work for me. Don't you forget it.

  • @farblonjet

You sound like a fucking moron.

  • Watching americans argue about healthcare is really funny!!!! We don't get to do too much of that over in the UK because one and all are taken care off with the NHS (not a perfect system, but good one)!!

Keep it up, I haven't laughed so much for ages!!

  • @johnnyappleseedism

If you're going to argue against the Harris poll, then you'll need to offer some actual credible evidence that supports your statement. Otherwise, you look like a wing nut.

    "know one is in there"

LOL ... Are you there to READ?

"When is the last time you have been in one?"

    Yesterday.

"im sure i could come up with stats."

I'm sure you could NOT, because you're obviously full of shit.
