  • I liked your analogy of Convincing John, all I could see in my head were "lawyers". They are supposed to use logic but it all comes down to just plain rhetoric.

The Trivium is probably the most important learning technique available today, and being from a public school I had never heard of it up until a few months back. That is a shameful fact about today's public school system. Of course its not the same for Private schools.

I have to say I feel this is entirely on purpose. Divide and Rule.

  • Exactly, and at this point most public school teachers themselves are woefully lacking in logical reasoning skills, so how could they teach them?

  • Thanks! I'll take that as a compliment as there was technically no script, and I recorded these while walking the dog :)

  • I love the block quote St. Augustine for it makes great sense that some may overlook.

  • A bit of practice before recording the script would help make the delivery more smooth! But the actual text is great. Thanks.
