@727Hushkits There is no "the British accent", any more than there is "the American accent" or "the Chinese accent". (Ironically, British Caledonian was a Scottish airline, formed when Caledonian Airways took over British United Airways, but there wasn't a single Scottish accent in the ad...)

Naff song,mildily politically wrong, xenophobic and sexist. Shame I wasn't around then, I would've been very happy with the naff music and fashion. Nice advert.

@Takanozana not really - I'm pretty sure he says rice, that's all -splendid things with wise doesn't actually seem to make sense!. But i've been wrong before, and no doubt will be again...
