BTW: It's Joerg Schaaf, not Schaff. And yeah, his products are awesome, which is why I bought the Spectralis 2. Thanks for putting up the demo, it's very nice!

Sorry.

Ah...i remeber this one. It was fun to play with the independent Sequencers. Lots of Modulation Possibilitys. But I also remember that bad feeling of the whobbly knobs and the scary clipping at high resonance settings. But overall a nice maschine with character. My girlfriend was laughing hard after she read the Name "Quasimidi Polymorph". ;)

where to lern how to program sequencers ? I do have some knowlege but not even close to what some people can do , where to lern to understand sequencing ?

@MarkoDeLaVoota Hi Marko. Not all hardware sequencers are programmed the same way but all work on the same principles. At it's simplest level there are a fixed number of steps per sequence and each step is programmed with a note (or pitch) value and possibly a duration. The sequencer then just cycles through the notes.

Klaus has not programmed any of the Polymorph presets... BTW - I made the demo song you are listening to in this video. I also made about 80% of the preset patterns and sounds. The other twenty percent have been made by other QM members.
Klaus and me used multiple prototype releases of the Polymorph for the dosburg online CD and concert. Later they were replaced by release versions. The prototypes had no sampled sounds inside, because we waited some weeks for the maskroms with the sampledata.

Wow this is almost like god himself is commenting on my videos! Thanks for the update Joerg it is an honour to have it's maker clear a few myths up. It's still a fantastic machine but my one and only criticism is that you could have made the pots feel a bit more sturdy!

That is another myth. I am not the designer of the Polymorph. The Polymorph has been designed by j.Reichstein, B. Beneke, F. Haar and D. Voss. I was just the sound designer, betatester and had the opportunity to bring my ideas in. "God" is completly wrong in this context;-)
