  • i have sung in choir at church and school my whole life so im pretty good singing classical stuff but when i try to sing pop, my throat starts to hurt really bad (and i sound very breathy) what am i doing wrong? most other people my age sing all this pop stuff but i can only sing classical and some broadway

  • Very interesting, I'm a classical singer who also sings pop

    and one of the first things when I sing pure pop sound is supress vibrato

    But I think vibrato is a totally natural thing in the voice

    Any excercised voice will have a vibrato, unless it's being choked and supressed artificially
