He's the uppermost scholar of Latin... the official language of the Vatican... they needed him so much they were forced to tolerate his "outragous" opinions till he left due to ill health on his own accord.. He planned to go back but found teaching for free to students who were passionate for latin more fulfilling so decided to dedicate the remainder of his life to it... A great man who saw through the church and took none of their crap and is so full of life holds no grudges..

@Snackbar47 All of my critiques about christianity have never been successfuly addressed by any theologian, or priest, or cardinal, or archbishop, or apologist in general. You can sit there and proclaim that your knowledge of christianity allows you to defend it againnst any objections atheists may have, but your constant, "Read this book that you've already read" or "Watch tis video you've already seen": apologetics are just failue after failure. Recognize that maybe...you might just be wrong.
