Does the position of keywords in the URL have a significant impact:
example.com/keyword/London is better than example.com/London/keyword?

The question was simple, but there were TIPs not an answer. Does it matter or not? I do not want to hear what is better practise...

@TheFloppster Backlinks aren't all that matter. Look at keyword density, content, etc. Remember that the amount of backlinks isn't as important as their quality.

He was NOT talking about domain names, but keywords in the URL, after the domain.

Absolutely Godly to have Cutts speak about specific topics. Having years of SEO in, mostly blind, it's reading the answers from the back of the book whenever he talks.
