Well this was a few years before I even went to uni (this video IS almost 5 years old, can you not see the date under the video?) This is hardly us trying our best to write the most technical and heavy music we were capable of. We existed to make fun of the rest of our local scene who took themselves too seriously.

I understand you not getting it because people like you were exactly our targets of ridicule, and because Yanks are impervious to any joke beyond face value

@Paranoidave You never made fun of a band i like, I'm not 12, and if this is what you did with your degree in music i seriously don't understand. If you went to school for music, how in the world did you come up with this? If you know something about music why do things like this and make it look like you don't? My argument i addressed long ago.... It's horrible. that's all my argument was, honestly. You just for some reason felt the need to address your love of anal sex.

Oh well, I guess if some random yankee 12 year old says I know nothing of music then I'll have to recall all those EP's I produced, remove all those short films and animations I scored from circulation and hand back MY DEGREE IN MUSIC....all because little jimmy doesn't like the fact that 5 years ago I made fun of a band he likes.

I never said anything about "core" bands. And i didn't say it wasn't technical. although, it really isn't now that you mention it. Music theory is a means of explaining and understanding music, as I said before, a piece of music cannot "lack" theory because "theory" isn't a characteristic. Stop trying to talk like you know about music.

You're trying to say you don't like the song because it's not very technical, but trying to sound smarter than you are. You're not going to convince me this is bad, it's got more soul than that soulless "core band No. 934732989258294" you call a band.

@Paranoidave Yes. This ridiculous composition shows me nothing other than the fact that you have no talent or knowledge of music theory. I really think whoever the vocalist is in this group should take vocal lessons before attempting to compose something that honestly sounds like that of a dying animal. He does NOT know how to sing... The guitar is just lacking so much. It sounds as if the guitarist has been playing for only a few weeks. seriously. Although, the drummer does his job well.
