Robots will never destroy humanity

The vinge singularity event will occur, but it wont occur in inorganics first. Humans will be the first entities to recursively self improve and this may go in one of two directions: 1) Total dominance and raw processing power in the possession of a small elite 2) Equilibrium, evolution, competition, and what we would call "fairness".

The roll of the inorganic intelligences will be driven towards slave-like labor for a short time and eventually the work will become so easy that a distinction between inorganic and organic-descendant will disappear.
