@MEpianist Yeah, I bet I'm doing a real deal of harm to your economy from over here in Sweden... but if that principle is right, why are you being so greedy? Why raise it to $8 an hour? Why not $1,000 an hour? If it is true that it does not affect unemployment, then it should not make a difference? The principle is the same, the logic is clear. Sorry.

@DrStrangebomb1993 Yea, I've taken Econ 101, thanks. In the real world, a price floor on wages promotes productivity as an efficiency wage. It reduces turnover cost and improves morale and service quality. This is why you see almost all functional international economies, e.g. Germany, adopting them, while the dysfunctional American predator state rots. Thanks to assholes like you.

@MEpianist The minimum wage kills off entry level jobs for uneducated and unqualified personnel. Imagine this:
A local grocer wants to employ me for $3 an hour. I want to be employed for $3 an hour as well. My mother sees nothing wrong with it.
Then big gov't comes and whines, "BOO HOO HOO! The minimum wage is $8! You can't hire him for less!"
He doesn't hire me. I stay unemployed.
Simple logic, if your brain isn't atrophying, as you put it.

Michael Moore owns a 2 million dollar mansion in Michigan, which The Daily Mail reported a while ago. This in addition to his expensive Manhattan flat. He's worth an estimated 50 million dollars. Get your heads out of his fat ass, people, he's one of the 1% and a blatant hypocrite.
