I kind of thought he was in love with the guy more than Louise (Melanie Laurent.) It's probably (SPOILERS) to do with Melanie's character leaving, Mathieu leaving, his mother's adultery, his real father and Melanie being his sister...

Well I really didn't understand the end of the film.

But I know it is cool and it is the second most depressive film I have ever seen since "Dancer In The Dark".

It is very complicated to understand if he was in love with the guy or the girl or both. LOL

I was thinking about his mother, she was so nice, poor woman. Imagine when they come back to the house and they find the rests of Simon being eaten by birds and insects, etc.
