BTW, Francium is so rare and with a half-life of about 20 minutes, it's believed that only about an ounce (25g) exists at any one time on Earth :-)

why does everyone watch mythbusters and suddenly think this is fake? sure it might not be completely accurate, im no scientist. think about the different conditions mythbusters and brainiac set. MB had their explosion contained in a bottle and so there may have been a tiny explosion similar to brainiacs but you only got to see the results which was the smoke. Since MB had their metals contained in capsules, where the capsule broke, the water probably didnt have much surface area to work with.
would these metals react similarly or worse with Hydrogen Peroxide? If so please repeat using tech. grade - not the 3% from the store. Please reply keep up the insane demos.

Well, i would say that it would probably react with the same force or maybe greater as water is H2O and hydrogen peroxide is H2O2, I wouldn't recommend mixing them, but I'm not too sure.
