This is mostly early 2000's street performance picks, Danny Croman and various combos-various times. In all but two clips - my friend Geoff was either singing, playing drums, or playing keys (on The "Easy Like.." I was on harmony vocal and percussion, Geoff vocal and keys, one night during a huge crowd, I had to call out the chords to the bridge which he, at least back then, hadn't learned yet, I joined on guitar that time - and it was one of those mobs of a crowd, yet things were cool -and some gains achieved. There is also brief 2003 footage with me (Danny), Gary & B.B.(Bev). Geoff is a funny and talented guy who like myself has walked away from high paying jobs, to keep more of his time and energy for music and the arts. The last two clips with my adaptations of ForYou Blue and Heart Like A Wheel are good even if with not the most ideal back ground noise reduction quality on some of it, and I intend to geta longer excerpt of the Miller tune adaptation later. At the time I posted this, I had just received what I thought was a ridiculous threat or warning which I will not go into. The prior description reflected this, but, suffice it say, in relation to that description and incident, and it's something that I feel still holds true: these postings are from a fairly unpropertied person,(yet to hit any kind of a potentially-based, full stride) who happens to be a music, camera and audio enthusiast. There is noting to gain for a bunch of millionaires from trying to intimidate underrated, (yet regionally, well- received) underpromoted artisans like Danny Croman - someone hanging in there and not many steps away from being homeless, but who happens to have a cam and access to a computer with dial-up, and periodically borrows ones with high speed. It is not a worthwhile prospect to threaten such a person with anything even remotely connected to judication or stripping of rights or priveleges; a hard-working performer/writer currently working primarily the streets in K.C. - It takes the lowest kind of person and/or busines entity (company) to threaten the property less and nearly homeless. Real admirable, guys. And good performancs can't be kept at bay from public access endlessly. Also word of mouth among the poor masses who repsect fellow the hard working from amongst their ranks, and who have about had it with oppressive aristocracy anyhow, only serve to insure bad p.r. for any agency, corporate entity, or individual who are petty and ignorant enough to propagate such acts.

  • Where is Nelson at?

  • Only you know the answer to that. Ha! Since you're apparently referring to yourself in the 3rd person form - as to the above video, "Nelson," is heard & not seen (kind of the reverse of the old saying about what children should be-ha!) on the "Teddy Bear" portion, only, of the various excerpts kalage. A very tipsy Nelson, on that outing, but a gamer, nonetheless. There are other videos & tapes where the Nelson 1/2 of the frequent duo was clearly more sober. Well, documentary footage shows all.

  • @nelsondowney1 -- Oh and "that guy Nelson" is also heard on the last portion of the "Margaritaville" adaptation excerpt, 8:10 to 8:55. Rock On!
