The warm and beautiful voice of Ilanit has made her an Israeli icon. She was also Israel's first representative to the popular Eurovision Song Contest in 1973. Thanks for this original version of her second entry in 1977. Because of "budgetary" limitations, the back singers were not able to travel with Ilanit and she got 3 local non-Hebrew speakers as a replacement... Of course this didn't help her ;-)

One of my favorite Ilanit songs and one of the best Israeli entry to the ESC in my opinion!

העובדה שאילנית כמעט נכנסה בענף כשפתחה את העיניים ב 2:15 לא גורעת ממנו (:
