people probably dont stand up because its not their country. white people bombed the shit out of them, and there a prideful people, so of course there will always be some hatred. but again, its their country, and they can do whatever they want. you or any tourist chooses to go there, no one forces you to go there. in ww2 americans took all japanese civilians in the usa and put them in to camps. why did they tolerate that? well, karmas a bitch.

Why do I 'tolerate it'? Well, because racism and discrimination is everywhere. Most of my peers at school have said things making fun of other races. There's always some prejudice going on and there's people who take it too far. People are curious-I myself have nudged my parents when I was younger to show them things I found cool or weird. Also, please remember that Racism is the belief one race is better that the other or vice versa. I think you are experiencing more prejudice than racism.
