@enroper right but doug basically has complete creative control of the band, so the "layers and textures" are his conception. mostly.

Why is it always the words that moves people, This song is hypnotic, I hate how the filmer has footage of the entire band for only a short amount of time, Then its right back to doug..I hate that. Why isnt he zooming in on their shoes an such.

i agree. doug is not the band. BTS would be nothing without all of the members and their respective parts. All those layers & textures add up to the final masterpiece.
