Go to overstream.net and easily create subtitles/closed captioning for your videos.

The videos are usually hosted at Overstream.net but this video shows how to use their service to add your captions to youtube videos.

Overview of the steps:
- Create your subtitles with overstream.net

-When you are finished click "tools" then "Export Current subtitles as SRT".

-Copy the code then open your notebook program and paste the subtitle code. Then save the file (As a text file .txt).

-Go to your youtube video. Click "Edit Video" then "Closed Captions and Subtitles".

-Upload your subtitle file.

That's it. The subtitles/captions will now play on your video.

  • It only works on some videos. Look just below the video and you'll see a "Watch in High Quality" link. Just click it.
