Everybody complains because they can't find a job, thats every college. But is messed up that there is no audition process. Because there are people in my classes that have no business being in this business. As long as you put forth an effort you can graduate from this school, but still doesn't mean you have talent.
P.s. Are exmilitary predisposed to attend here

I graduated from Fullsail a few months ago. The school was fun and I learned alot but It was way over priced. Most of these careers don't require a college degree, like in my case (web development). Save yourself 70,000 and buy books on whatever subject you want to look into. When you are looking for a job; employers mainly care about how good your portfolio is so why bother with a expensive degree?. The college degree is only a small factor in our industry.

look into the florida institute of recording and sound!!

hmmm, I didnt see their college on my colleges transfer program. maybe it was only the guaranteed transfer program...so theoretically I could still transfer to full sail then?
Ive looked at colleges here that offer film majors and stuff but they arent straight forward because unlike full sail, they arent an entertainment school. So things seem like it would be easier at full sail.
so I figure since im takin a community college for the first two years then transferring to full sail, it wont cost me $70,000 ay?

nope, full sail doesn't accept any credits from other colleges, and other colleges that are worthwhile don't accept full sail credits. honestly, i wouldn't endorse this school anymore after graduating. the music industry is suffering right now and full sail has completely flooded the market. i would like my $70,000 back to pay for a real education...

the music industry is suffering because of?
and I guess you took the music production route, or something similar?
I was gonna go into full sail for film ( I make my own music and think I can pick up a good career without going to college for it IMO )

the music industry is suffering because nobody buys cd's anymore. even the biggest names are lucky to break 500,000.
yes, i did the music program and the entertainment business bachelor's. i have a job with a studio and i get freelance work from time to time which pays well, but the majority of people i've met who attended full sail definitely don't have the type of job that they'd hoped for.
just realize that every month another 100 people graduate and are looking for the same job you are.
