Technique and accurate casting catches fish. However you have to be able to feel the slightest bump or tap in order to catch a lot more fish. If what they say is true about this rod then it is worth the money. I wait usually a year to purchase a big money rod and read reviews. I have found that the best rods aren't the most expensive. If you like this rod you should check out Bass Pro's Crabonlite series. Very good rods and doesn't break the bank, or the old Bass Pro Woo Davis Rods.
$500 plus for a bass rod??? lol Every year I run into those who spend more time staring at how pretty their fishing rod is or protecting it. And while they are wasting this time I'm catching all the fish on a $6 rod!
A $6 dollar rod yes that actually has more feel to it than many of the expensive rods out there! Goes to show we are living in a world always fighting to improve and pure basics aren't enough anymore for many! Like a woman never happy. lol
Hey Efishant....this does not expalain how to catch fish at all don't be an idiot. It is only talking about there new rod. I myself cant use that rod its a bass rod. Where I live we catch real fish...salmon...steelhead etc.
I just got home from Bass Pro "Springfield, MO" and i was the first one to purchase the NRX 7'1" Fast-Medium-Heavy rod. I will tell you be ready for the sticker shock. But now i know why they put the price tag on the cork handle. It is the best feeling rod i have ever felt. And the recoil eyelets...Yeah.. Nice. I paid $475.00 + Tax.
