KCPD Shootout Sept 6, 2009.wmv

This is the entire video from the Sept 6, 2009 shootout involving a drunk, high hispanic male activley trying to kill a police officer. The first video is officer 1's dash cam, it then goes to officer 2's dash cam before the shootout occurs when he is pulling up to the scene of the suspects car into a tree in a residental neighborhood. It then goes to the shootout. Note: As officer 2 is driving to the accident the suspect walks past him and goes into a neighborhood park where children regularly play. The shootout occured in the park when the unprovoked suspect turns, racks his slide and takes fire upon the police. Officer 2 pulls up just as the shootout starts and sees officer 1 go down.

Wow, cop1 gets shot in vest and returns fire in less than 3 seconds! Cop2 gets at least 10-12 total shots, 8 at close range. It's real easy to use a lot of ammo, I hope a lot of those hit the bad guy. Kudos to the cops who performed flawlessly under fire. One more cold blooded thug down and who gives a crap about his race, he's stopped and that's all that matters. Those cops are no more racist than those trees are. Real idiots on youtube. Hope the cops recovered okay from this whole thing.
