Why did you quote Islam ? dude seriously Islam is not at all violent or tribal or what ever.. infact Tribalism and violence are absolutely prohibited in islam.. My paternal grandparents parents came from Ireland & Spain. My maternal grandparents parents from France. All these contraries are a mix of Nords, Vikings or whoever. They have great history, but America is making new history. It doesn't lessen achievements of the past. If you're Christian you believe God made all man (equal) in his image. We're all homosapien, but some cultures are still, tribal, territorial, violent & backwards (eg, Islam). I think my culture is best. Sue me!

Do I think America is perfect? No, of course not and that is ANOTHER strength of America, willingness to be honest, admit mistakes, correct them and make them right. This OPEN freedom of speech, religion and way of life in a democracy for the people by the people, every man created equal is why we're SO FREAKING GREAT.... Sorry for my pride and patriotism.

America was ONLY discovered in 1492 by an Italian financed by the spaniards, than settled by British and THE WORLD starting about 1607. Of course America has to thank the cultures and civilizations that came before, at first mostly Western and Scandinavian Europeans, but we have EVERY race, color, creed, nationality represented here, living in peace and mutual respect. THAT IS WHAT MAKES US (USA) GREAT. To be corny, WE ARE THE WORLD. Haters need not apply.

You should be proud of your heritage. That is why I get pissed at every one dumping on America, or blaming the WHITE man for everything or Europeans.... when in fact there is serious evil in the world that would have killed you or your father or mother or their parents or their parents, if it where not for America.
