Going through the RSPCA charity shop sheet music box sometimes unearths 50 pence gems and such an album contained Hymn Creator Alme Siderum set to Lemmens' accompaniment. My harmonium (American Reed Organ) only has one manual so I am playing the accompaniment on that and multitracking the melody on a Yamaha.

  • I love it so much ! Thanks for this great video ! Can you please say to me what manufacturer has done it ? Thanks !

  • This is an American Reed Organ from the Chicago Church and Cottage Organ Company. The melody comes from a modern Yamaha P140.

  • Really enjoyed your selection .... and your efforts to convey this lovely piece. Worked out very well indeed! Off to the archives to see if I can find this

  • This is really good! Great playing on a great instrument! With that amount of stops makes the organ so versatile, and you demonstrated that versatility very well. Thanks for posting this!

  • We've played this at mass in Advent, giving the cantus firmus line to a recorder to help it float over the accompaniment on my 1913 Lindeman. It's a beautiful piece!

  • beautiful playing!
