@l33tmomiji Well true some are but I don't see hwo its creepy to be followed. I mean yes I agree with you some are lonely and I myself have followed people but its not creepy if you ask nicely. The ones I have ask have no problem with me hanging around them or following them since I usually go by myself to conventions. So of course with no group of my own I usually can get into a group of people. Its only creepy if you just start following random hot female (or male) cosplayers around a con.

Its not that bad to be followed around. I had a hot looking chick follow me around and I didn't mind at all. Plus many cosplayers don't mind you following them around as long as you ask first. Plus I get a ton of hugs because I'm nice enough to ask. Thats how you start friendly relatioships with many people. Just ask and talk with them kindly. Its not that bad to hit on them a little once you get to know them but yes the guy is right don't dive in and start hitting on them right away.
