Video from Microsoft's TechNet site explaining how Google Chrome "steals" your privacy. Of course, while they're at it, they suggest using Internet Explorer 8 and the accompanying "InPrivate" session to protect your privacy.

  • I have dumped Google from my computer and turned to another search engine, if we all did this they would have to stop this under handed games they play.

  • If this is a concern for you then just open Chrome and go to > Options - Basics and deselect > Enable Instant for faster searching and browsing. Nothing will be sent to Google! I've tested this using the same software method used in this video. It's a feature designed to speed up your searching and browsing and is one of the reasons Chrome is faster than IE! Hope this helps? 8-)

  • @HerrBismarck By default, IE9 doesn't send any suggestions to your selected search provider. The user has to enable search suggestions in order for data to be sent.

  • I seriously could not imagine chrome will fade away my trust on google ...like this
