@superhuman295 In my opinion, I think Ryan Reynolds will be a good Hal Jordan, he's a cocky, Han Solo-esque hero, and Reynolds is pretty good at playing those type of "likeable jackass" characters. Plus if you look at the old 1960s Green Lantern comics, Ryan Reynolds look quite a lot like the Gil Kane style Hal Jordan.

@Maximillionaire666 i get what ur saying, but Ryan Renolds.......i don't know, but seeing it from ur perspective i get you, those effects look awesome, and if done right hopefully, i wont have to lose faith in Warner Bros

@superhuman295 Personally, I didn't like Avatar, it was very overrated in my opinion, as it was basically just Pocahontas but with aliens instead of Native Americans.

Anyway, what I meant was like how Star Wars is just as influential and fantastic as it is now as it was back in 1977, and I have a feeling Green Lantner could have the same potential if done right, and by the look of this trailer, it could very well be.
