'Fantasie', composition by Mathilde Wantenaar

'Fantasie' is - as the title indicates - a musical fantasy of mine. The piece doesn't really hold a specific message or story. You can simply listen to it and let your own imagination do the trick.

I've written this piece for five students at the royal conservatory in The Hague (Koninklijk Conservatorium, Den Haag) when I won the opportunity to attend three workshops given by Calliope Tsoupaki after entering a composition contest of the NBE (Nederlands Blazers Ensemble). (I didn't make it to the finals, but I will try again this year ^.^)
