Flight of Ford Tri-Motor, Ottawa KS, September 2nd 2009

This 1927 Ford Tri-Motor appeared in the movie "The Family Jewels" and was recently filmed in the movie "Public Enemies". It is one of an original 199 manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. Nicknamed "the Tin Goose", these types of planes were the first passenger airplanes. This particular plane is one of only 6 left in existence and is the only one that is able to carry passengers for tours. This footage was recorded at Ottawa, KS on September 2nd, 2009.
