The Dream Duet! Simply Wonderful! They don't write 'em or sing 'em like this anymore, no how!

This is a beautiful song. It can't get much better than Frances Langford and Kenny Baker. Thanks for posting!

@Hannah071293 I suggest you call your local scientist to build a time machine. If anything, I was too. Honestly, my birth date should have been in the 50s. I am a rock n roll type of chick.

I am so glad that there are still people like yourself allowing us the pleasure of such fine singers of long ago. For me and others of my age it was a time of terrible Wars and strife and those fine Young stars helped us to live through it. Oh how i wish today there were the same fro our young people. Once again - THANK YOU :)

I'm still learning about all this ol' timey music. This is my first Frances Langford YouTube. OhMyGod WhaddaVoice! ...and what a Beautiful song! It's a sure Favorite. I love these romantic duos' also. Another favorite duo of mine is a YouTube titled "With A Song In My Heart (1930). I especially love the ending of this video... it's perfect. Thanks for the contribution. Bravo!

I like Frances Langford's voice better than Alice Fey. Although i liked the Alice Fey / Phil Harris show better than the Frances Langford / Don Ameche show called the Bickersons, which was heard by the Korean war veterans during that war.

@JerseySurvivor From your reply, it sounds as if you KNEW Frances... did you? It would be nice to meet someone who knew her, even if late in life..

@JerseySurvivor Yes, she was. I knew her all my life. You see, my father is Tony Romano, and he not only traveled with her in the USO years as the 'Four Gypsies', but he also was her vocal arranger and taught her many things that gave Frances her style. Listen to Francs and Tony on the Embraceable You track I put on my channel. He also sang at the 'Outrigger Restaurant' in Jensen Beach, Florida for seven years... There's a lot more to come... Thank you so much for posting lovely music.
What a lovely song! How have we lost this purity and tenderness in music? No tricks, just music. Dear Frances, come back.

Frances was a lovely woman. She ran a great restaurant for many years near Port St. Lucie, Fl. After her husband Ralph's death in the mid-80's Frances went through a rough patch but she found love again with Hal and married again at 80!! She loved entertaining and many afternoons were spent in song on their yacht on the St. Lucie river.
