This reached the UK charts in February 1973 after it was recorded by The Tony Osborne Sound for use in a Dubonnet Advert. It features the amazing voice of Joanne Brown.

Chants d'Auvergne ("Songs from the Auvergne") is a collection of folk songs from the Auvergne region of France arranged for soprano voice and orchestra or piano by Joseph Canteloube between 1923--1930. The best known of the songs is the "Baïlèro" - and known in English simply as "The Shepherd's Song"
