I don't like hips because it won't say if the file or process is a virus or not! it will just say that it have found a suspicious behavior! I like threatfire because it will pop up and say that it have detected a virus and asks if you like to block it and not that it have found a suspicious behavior!

You didn't give it a fair test you didn't installer the WSG toolbar and you didn't installer clam antivirus and you didn't make the protecion the highest

if you hit block it would of BLOCKED it. All you did was allow everything it allowed it to installed. You didn't use the HIPS the way it was meant to be used. If you blocked the stuff you would not of been infected.

of course I had to hit allow all it was asking for is if I want to run the EXE. it pops up for all the software you want to install, I was hoping to see more popups to alert me to system changes, but it did not.
