Maxim Staviski gets behind the wheel

The end of the video shows Maxim, who is getting into a car driver's seat. It is obvious that he is going to drive. The video is shot in Russia.

On August 5, 2007, Maxim Staviski was involved in a car accident near Burgas, Bulgaria that left one person dead and another in a coma. Staviski had a BAC of 1.29‰. The legal limit in Bulgaria is 0.5‰

On January 30, 2008, Staviski received a two years and six months suspended sentence, with a five-year probation period, after pleading guilty on all counts. Staviski could have gone to prison for up to ten years.

Staviski's lawyer Rosen Kozhuharov said "My client's Bulgarian driver's license has been suspended by the Bulgarian Traffic Police (KAT), but this is an administrative measure. The measure does not automatically apply on the territory of the Russian Federation."

Who cares if hes in Russia or on the Moon. He could be training for Ice Age Infinity for all I care. The important thing here is that hes still driving. There were rumors he was spotted driving in Moscow a month ago but he denied it. From the looks of this video he was clearly lying. I believe in forgiveness and that everybody deserves a second chance but hes skating on a very thin ice right now. Hes a great athlete and I truly believe he was sincere when he apologized for the accident.
